As we don’t have our road bikes here in France we decided to borrow the ‘mountain’ bikes that are kept here at Ben’s mum’s house. Up a mountain road, down and back up - 1.5 hours of climbing, pretty good going. We then decided to go OFF-ROAD…. Down a steep dirt track and of course I fall off and end up looking like THIS.

I will never have ‘skinny’ legs
But that’s ok! It’s not my shape. However, I CAN slim down overall quite a bit and tone up.
I can’t believe I let it get this bad! Here’s to making a real change in the next few months.

Ahh just back from a run
Probably the first January 1st I’ve not been hungover well obvs apart from when I was too young to drink
Drank a couple glasses of wine and lots of fruit juice
Run was amazing; I’m not at my fittest but my lungs feel opened up, I feel awake and alive

We went to visit Ben’s cousin in a tiny village near to his mum’s house in France. His wife has got a Polaroid and she let us play with it. I’m in love!

Getting ready to try out the SPDs I got for Christmas. I know I look properly chunky and I’ve been in denial for ages about how much weight I have put on so here I am clad in lycra at 63kg (138lbs). FACING THE TRUTH lol.
Here’s to riding more and eating better. I need a kick up the arse to get back to 55 kilos. (120lbs).

I am going to do the un-doable
Yes, that’s right, LOSE WEIGHT OVER CHRISTMAS!
My boyfriend and I have decided to have a ‘fit Christmas’ and are taking our bikes to his parents’ for Christmas.
I aim to lose 6lbs by December 25th and then a further 5 by January 31st. After that I’ll take it really slowly and aim to lose the final 5lbs over the 5 weeks to March 11th 2012. I am sick of not fitting into my clothes and I have tummy overhang for the first time in my life!
